We completed the new amplifier installation at St. Nick Highway and tested the performance of the new amplifier on Friday September 15th & test results was unsatifactory, we reviewed and mapped the configuration plan and found 9 amplifier are spaced too far apart between the amplifiers to bring the new amplifier into satifactory performance level.
It is a results of the upper channel pass 40 to 78 did not reached the satifactory level also the mapping plan indicated it is short of three more amplifier.
On Monday September 18th (Weather Permitting) we will relocate 9 amplifiers to the right location and test for maximum performance. We anticipate it will take the project up to 10 1/2 hours to complete providing no additional problems during the course of the construction project.
During the construction please expect even poorer or no tv reception until we finished relocating the amplifier then the reception should improve.
After the amplifier upgrade project is complete, we will finally proceed the next project called Phase II Project which is adding more new channel & programs.
We are preparing to add 8 new channels by the end of September.
Also we are planning to do the local test of the New Emergency Alert System that effect all cable tv channels, stay tuned for upcoming test schedules.
